Halo 3 takes FOREVER to get into a game… so long… longer than COD4’s Intermission time.

It’s obvious people have figured out what’s real and what’s not. Halo 2.5… errr 3, was and isn’t the best game. Nothing has been as overhyped as that rehash. Now COD4 is the next level. All this game needs are minor minor tweaks and fixes… but overall what a product.Even it’s BETA was better and more polished than 99% of games released in full. Now that says more than enough. Congrats again!

I think it’d be funny to see them release a classic Capture the Flag mode and then see only 100/100,000 playing on XBL. That’d be awesome. What I’d like to see would be some Merc. Hardcore modes. My friends don’t like playing hardcore mode, but I do. So… I only play hardcore when there’s no one else on, but I get owned by a group of 6 friends that play nothing BUT hardcore mode. So… with that said, any way we can get a Merc. Hardcore TDM or FFA (or MHTDM/MHFFA)?

Congrats to all, but for the love of God sort out the “player dropped” problems in matchmaking, I’d hate to see players drift away because of shonky front ends and miss the fab game waiting inside.

Oh, and to everyone asking for CTF, why? Play Sabotage, it’s the same thing.

Woooohooooo, kicking ass and taking names later!

We all know you’ve been number one on the PS3, and now you’ve taken over the ranks of number one on Xbox 360’s! Rock on!

We don’t need a COD5, we just need new maps, guns, features, etc every once in a while, COD4 is kick ass right now, it just needs some new content every little now and than so people don’t get burned out and go back to other games… yanno what I’m saying?

Thanks for keeping us up to date. yes there is alot of laggie issues. Especially if one of my British buddies host a room, I’m usually getting jiggy with it on the screen when there hosting, so the sooner you guys can get this fixed the better. Is there anything you can give us, as far as DLC is concerned, say for example more guns, more perks, you know stuff like that. thanks again. peace

Congrats and everything but more people would be playing it if wasn’t suffering from major matchmaking issues. These may be XBL performance related, or they may not, but at peak times CoD4 becomes a nightmare to play…still.

Great info here! Just a couple of issues still with ps3 servers. During peak periods lag now seems to be the biggest problem. Screens are jumping, freezing, and choppy at times. For example on lag I shot at a player and was shot at. I was killed respawned and started back to battle and had not fired a shot and then the kill from my previous life appeared.

Can you also address when the EU patch goes live and worldwide play restored how this will effect the servers if they are currently not handling the volume. Will the addition of the euro servers add more space.

Lastly, the IW site needs to be cleaned up with so many posts it is very hard to find your most recent post. Especially when you post in an open thread.

I have been playing online since MOH Rising Sun and have played all the COD titles which I think speaks for my creditability in presenting server issues.
