... contd.

I mean its so damn simple. If you accidently kill a team mate - use your head set and apologize. 99 times out of 100 the apology is accepted and the case is closed.

I know that most TK'ers probably are fat, ugly kids with miserable lives that are bullied in school etc etc. TK'ing is their way of paying back and the only thing in life they succeed in. No matter how cocky they are online, they wouldn't talk back to anyone in real life since they are scared shitless of everybody and everything. We should feel sorry for them, but I honestly can't... In my book TK'ers toghether with cheaters, loud mouths and all other morons are lower than whale crap. And you find that on the ocean floor. Doesn't get any lower than that...

I'd prefer a team vote option: If the majority of the team wants a player booted - hit eject and off he/she goes...

@360/XBL players: Anybody else wonder why you cant file complaint/feedback for team killing? I use the "unsporting" option, but I think that deliberate team killing is a reason of its own...

There WILL be complaints about this, but compare that to the complaints there are now about teamkillers, and it's a step in the right direction. Another option is to 'ghost' players for the first 5 seconds, and on top of that add in the 3+ teamkill = booted rule.

Ghosting players for the first few seconds would also prevent that retarded tactic of shooting the enemy spawn with a grenade launcher half a second after the game starts.. That isn't skill or strategy, it's just exploiting a weakness in the gameplay.

Cut the crap and just kick somebody from the room after 3+ teamkills. Since this game boasts realism, no soldier would be allowed to continue fighting a battle after shooting his own guys... They'd be beaten to death or arrested and court marshaled.. the least you can do to take a step in this direction is kick somebody from the room.

The only annoying phenomenon I notice is somebody killing their entire team off the spawn in Hardcore S&D, whether by rpg, c4, grenade, grenade launcher, or even just using their gun.

It's silly and ruins many games.

The so-called "stealing away" of kills in last stand doesn't bother me. It was my understanding that a team kill was counted as negative points for the perp. For lack of a better word this "negates" any perceived advantage to giving your last stand buddy a mercy kill.

However, unsolicited team killing has become more of a problem and will likely continue to increase as the game ages. This is where I hope IW will focus there attention in the future. A three strike protocol (per game) would work best. First offense, longer respawn. Second offense, auto death and 1 min respawn. Third offense, out of the game.

Hardcore search and destroy is my favorite. I had a problem with team killers this weekend. I developed a strategy for dealing. First, if no explanation can be retrieved from the offender and they are clearly just doing it to be a dick, I mute them. Second, I wait until the begining of the fourth round and take them out before they can kill again. Then, I try to draw out the round to the time limit, if possible. On three occasions this weekend, this succeeded in getting the offender to quit the game and we continued without incident.

The person that puts the other player into Last Stand should be awarded the points for the kill reguardless of whom finishes that person off. A possible solution to eliminate this would be to switch friendly fire from Enabled to Reflected. So that way the guy shootting his teammate to "steal away" the kill would actually be inflicting damage on himself. It would also eliminate the possibilty of intential team killing.

Personally i think its a sly but o.k tactic, if a player/team isn't going to bother to confirm a kill/finish the job then its their fault (if faults the correct word) if the opposing team puts their downed team member out their misery and saves a point.

I think a far more important problem to address ATM is the amount of teamkilling that's now becoming prevalent in hardcore mode I find it astonishing that the game wasn't hardcoded to auto-kick repeated offenders. With players not knowing who hosting quite often, one or more idiots can quickly ruin a game, and if you leave said game to avoid their anti-social behaviour then your stats get punished?

Surely you can code a auto-kick function for repeatedly teankilling or give the fellow team members the choice to boot said cretins?

I think that when a team member kills you in last stand then your team gets -10, or opponents +10. But the cowards way out, if taken before any kills made in last stand should neutralise the kill. So kill yourself when in last stand-nobody gets a kill...anyone else kills you-the team that puts you into last stand gets awarded the kill (or minus a kill if it happens to be your own team)
