GDC 08: Quick Update #1

Since I’ll be at GDC all week with limited Internet Access (only when I get back to the hotel), I’m going to be doing a series of Quick Updates when I get a chance, such as this. Nothing long, just a quick snapshot of what I’m doing or about to go do, and then at night when I get a chance to really sit down, I’ll do a daily recap of how the day went and anything exciting you guys might want to know about.

At the moment though, nothing exciting. Got into San Francisco around Noon, checked into the Westin on Market Street and am about to head over to GDC to pick up my badge.

So far, I’ve been picking up GDC news from Kotaku.com to keep track of what’s been happening before I got here, my week will be filled with mostly interviews, but I’m going to try and swing by the show floor whenever I get a chance.

That’s it for now, tonight is the 1up Awards, we’re nominated for Best Shooter, Best Overall Multiplayer, and Game of the Year I believe and I’ll be there to accept if we’re lucky enough to win any, I’ll re-cap how that goes later tonight after the show.
