FFI/III/VII are good but I can't solidify a place for them in the top ten, just too many good games I've enjoyed. Such as Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle, Psychonauts, Abe's Odyssey, etc. COD4, AAO, UT, and several other FPS games have treated me well, but I couldn't rank them in the top 10. They've got great engines and playability and keep me coming back to them, but they're missing the depth that those other games give me. 1. Chrono Trigger (SNES)

4. Quake (PC)
5. Crystalis (NES)

I will say that COD4 is a stellar game worthy of all the accolades it gets for sure.
