Call of Duty 2 (Xbox360) for $13.99

I’ll go ahead and assume that you’ve already got Call of Duty 2 for the Xbox 360, and since its so amazingly amazing you want a second copy, or perhaps have a special someone’s birthday, anniversary, wedding, or other gift giving occasion coming up, go pick it up at Circuit City for a smooth $13.99.

Call of Duty 2 (Xbox 360) is moving into the Platinum Hits category, after standing at the top of the Xbox Live most played lists for over a year, and I assume this little promotion is in association of that. Clearing out stock of the regular packaging before the new Platinum Hits editions hit shelves, so if you’re a collector, or hardcore gamer who wants the original versions in your collection and not the re-designed packaged budget versions, then go pick it up for cheap.

Good luck actually finding it in stock, as everywhere I’ve been / looked has sold out already.

Super Mario Brothers Mod (COD:UO)

This may just be one of my all time favorite mods; with the combination of my two favorite things in life, some NES nostalgia and Call of Duty.

This ingenious creation comes complete with Super Mario Brothers original back drops, question block cover, and not to mention Super Mario Brothers BG music in all its copyright infringing glory.

Now all we need is some custom vehicle models, so we can import Yoshi in as a rideable character, and what I wouldn’t do to see some of those glorious white gloves in a view model holding an M1 Garand.

Over the weekend, I jumped on the interwebs really quick to check some emails, and was sent this beauty.

A die-hard Call of Duty fan has showed the ultimate tribute to the series by getting part of the cover art tattooed onto his arm. Quite an impressive piece of inking if I do say so myself.

I’ve since attempted to touch base with the loyal fan who bears the COD mark, but haven’t heard back. I figured the least we could do is hook the guy up with some swag!
