For You Animation Hopefuls

If you’re looking for a job in Animation, please make your demo reel even remotely as hilarious as this… and you’ve got a job.

Hitman Movie

Heading over to the new Arclight Theater in Sherman Oaks, CA in a few hours (8:20 pm) to check out the new Hitman Movie. I’m a sucker for video game based films, so it’s sorta obligatory I see it. Not to mention, any movie with double pistol wielding assassin’s is pretty much a must see for me anyways.

I’ll admit, I’m not 100% convinced actor Timothy Olyphant can live up to being Hitman, although I thought he did just fine in the latest Die Hard, we’ll just have to wait and see. - Ignore that, Hitman was fucking awesome.

I’ll be sure to report back and let you know how the movie was, but come on, It’s based on a video game, so it has that going for it, and it has assassinating fools…. what more could I ask for?

Verdict: Fantastic movie. If you’re a fan of Hitman, Video game movies, or action films in general you will not be disappointed. One of the best action movies I’ve seen in a while. Go see it, now.

Last night I caught the latest episode of CHUCK on NBC and noticed that Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare had a little cameo appearance in several parts of the episode.

Watch It Here - NBC Rewind

Chuck - Episode 109

Towards the beginning the guys are walking through the store while the Cargoship level “Crew Expendable” is playing on the TV’s in the background, not to mention later in the episode when they’re playing some Multiplayer and talking about their Perks.

Pretty good episode and the mention / playing of the game made it that much better. It’s really cool to see just how many people the game actually reaches, apparently the writers of CHUCK being some of them.

First we’re on The Office, then Chuck…. can’t wait to see where we pop up next!

Episode 81
“It’s Hard To Wake Up Everyday Knowing I’m This Awesome”

I know it will be tough, but if you can tear yourself away from Call Of Duty 4 for just a moment, you might find some interesting discussion going on in this episode of Evil Avatar Radio. Even more interesting is the interview we had with Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling, who answered the questions YOU asked! And even some you didn’t. There’s no lack of talk surrounding Call Of Duty 4 here, and if you’re still on the fence, this show might just sway you to the COD side of things as you hear us chomping at the bit to end our broadcast, if only so we can get home to play the game ourselves. Hell, we didn’t even stay very long after the show because of that reason.

^As you can see, I did an Interview with Evil Avatar Radio this week so go check it out. They’re a great group of guys, enjoy!

That’s right, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is FINALLY HERE! I never thought I’d live to see the day, but here I am….

Now…. to play…. all day…..

see you online!

Day 6 of 7 Days of Modern Warfare

http://www.infinityward.com/modernwarfare/day1.html

Just 1 more day till the game hit’s most store shelves around the world and we have some new content to tide you guys over through Launch Day-eve.

The video for today is another behind the scenes and under the hood look at Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, walking you through the many layers that go on top of the game to make it look as amazing as it does. There’s a lot of work that goes into the game from when you’re working with simple wire-frame models and environments to texturing and adding special effects to it all to really immerse you guys in the action.

We also have a brand new 3D Screenshot of a US Marine fighting in the Bog as they try to push their way into a near by enemy stronghold.

A new wallpaper from the eye of a sniper and another Soundtrack taken from one of the most pressured moments in the Single Player campaign.

Looks like Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has over took Xbox.com which can only mean once thing…. IT’S LAUNCH WEEK BABY!

WOOOOO!

I woke up this morning like it was Christmas!

I’ve already alerted the loved ones, they may not see me for a while, so suck it while you can, because I’m going to be spending every waking hour on this bad boy now that it’s out.

It’s hard to believe the day is finally here!

Day 4 of 7 Days of Modern Warfare

http://www.infinityward.com/modernwarfare/day3.html

Today brings a video showcasing ARCADE MODE, a new mode which is unlocked once you beat the Single Player campaign. In this mode, you can re-play the entire campaign (full challenge) or any individual mission (level challenge), this time going for the high score on the Leaderboards. In this mode, you get points for every kill you do, and extra for special kills like Headshots, knife melees, blowing up cars and killing enemies and others.

Not to mention, just like the arcade games we loved in the past, you have to do it all with a limited number of lives. Don’t worry though 1 Up can be snagged by scoring high and doing well.

In addition, we have a new 3D screen shot from the single player as they breach the perimeter of an enemy compound as well as a new sample from the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Soundtrack.
